Darjeeling, West Bengal, India.
Darjeeling is a beautiful hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal. It presents a beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga mountain, the world's third highest peak. It is famous for the well known Darjeeling tea. It has several public schools and a beautiful zoo. The hills of Darjeeling are a part of the Mahabharat range of Eastern Himalayas. There is a toy train to Darjeeling from New Jaipalguri. The nearest airport is Bagdogra, a military airport. March to May are the best seasons for visiting Darjeeling.

Bhimtal, Nainital district, Uttarakhand, India.
Bhimtal is a town in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. It has a very beautiful lake with an island at its center. The place is named after Bhima of Mahabharata, who once visited this place during the time of Vanvas of Pandavas.
Bhimtal is less than half an hour drive from Nainital. One can enjoy boating and horse riding here. It is a smaller and quieter place as compared to Nainital.

Kausani, Uttarakhand, India.
Kausani is a hill station situated in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. Kausani presents a very beautiful look of the Trisul, Nandadevi and Panchchuli mountains from the top.
Kausani was visited by Mahatma Gandhiji in 1929. He called it "Switzerland of India" because of its natural beauty. The guest house where he stayed is now turned into an ashram and is called Anashakti Ashram.

Mussoorie is a hill station in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand. It lies in the Garhwal range of Himalayas. It is also known as Queen of the hills. Dehradun is the nearest airport and railway station. Places worth visiting are Mussorie lake, Kempty falls, Mall road, Gun Hill, Lal Tibba and Rope way.
Ideal time to visit Mussorie is March to May.

Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated on 5 hills and was built during British Empire. It has been named after Lord Dalhousie, who was the British Governor General and used this place as his summer retreat. It is surrounded by the mountains of Dhauladhar range.
There is an animal sanctuary close by called Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary.Khajjiar which is at about half an hour drive is called mini Switzerland, because of its landscapes and a stream fed lake. Besides there is a beautiful lake for boating called Chamera Lake. March and April are best months to visit the place.
